i love these folks. i live in conway, and i bring my dog to pelham [25 miles away], because they are worth it. i've tried many of the more local vets, but they have all left me disappointed.
I love this vet Hospital, I not only bring my own 4 dog's but i work heavily in rescue and foster and ALL my many Foster's have been seen here and they have bern wonderful!! Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and treat my pet's and foster's as if they were thier own. Fair prices etc. Would highly recommend if you love and want the best care for your furry family member(s) this would be the Place to go for sure.
The partner vets leave rapidly. The owner vet frequently interferes with cases the junior vets are handling. In my case, my (critically ill) dog had 3 extra days to suffer before a simple diagnostic test (xray) was done (junior vet suggested and I agreed but by time my dog and I arrived, Dr L had talked her out of it and we tried something useless (special diet). I doubt my dog would have survived either way but at least I could have euthanized her earlier once we knew it was hopeless. Dr L and her spouse gouge you on routine care
They treat my babies (rats!) like their own, and they always work with me if I'm having an emergency. Reasonable rates and affordable meds. They make you feel like a part of their family, from Dr. L to Andy and the entire staff.
i've been going to dr. lichtenberg for 7 years now. they are always excited to see my dog. as a result, my dog has absolutely no issues going to the vet. she's so happy to see everyone she barely even notices the strange goings on for a few minutes while she's up on the table.
I've brought both of my cats to Lichtenberg and have been very pleased with each visit. They treat the animals with great care and kindness and are never rough when handling them. While the cats definitely don't enjoy the vet visits, they're put at as much ease as possible by the staff. The staff are also incredibly friendly and informative. The pricing for visits, medications, and tests/lab work are all quite fair. I've compared their pricing to other vets in the area (and other places I've lived) and Lichtenberg so far has some of the best prices for most services while other prices seem standard. Definitely an all around great clinic!
